[Tutorial 1] The Eyes
Good morning, afternoon, evening or whatever the time it is at your place.
Today it's my first tutorial on this forum for you guys.
For a first tutorial (can I just say Tuto, it takes less time to write it.) I chose to talk about the eyes 'cause a lot happens in the eyes, they are the windows of our soul. Eyes are the most important things because they're the leaders of emotion on the face.
So first, let's say that it's better not to take the default eyes from the game. I can hear you aksing why; well let's start by saying that they aren't really attractive/beautiful + even with great light they are dark.
So that brings me to give the advice that downloading custom eyes isn't only a plus but a must !
Here's some that are beautiful and looks realistic (all took on MTS because it's free.)
Default Replacement (You can have only one)
Mariana's Natural Eyes
!ZOMG! (Eclipse, Nova & Maxis are interesting.)
What is YOUR Destiny?
And sparks will fly
Non Default (usually found under makeup/full face makeup)
The Sorcerer's Soul (Take note that these eyes are VERY dark, look for other eyes before taking these.)
My Sweetheart
Intensity Eyes (Default & Non Default)
Deep eyes
EYES for eye-coholics! (in 2 amazing styles)
MY personnal favorite is Oh My Tiffany (non default eyes)
I suggest that you take non-default eyes but you can take Default eyes.
Take note that "Contacts" are Non-Default eyes.
Now let's talk about the eye shadow.
Blue Eyes should put darker eyeshadow than their eye color. I suggest Brown (for a natural look) or shades of Black.
To brighten the eye, use silver, fuchsia or turquoise.
Example :
Green Eyes or Hazel eyes (green and brown eyes.) brighten it with brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green.
If you want a more modern look, use shades of gold, lime-green, light green or bright purple.
Violet or purple liners make hazel eyes stand out green.
Example :
Brown Eyes should use shades as copper, bronze or brown.
For a doe-eyed look you can also add beige and khaki-green.
You can contrast your brown eyes with royal blue, hot pink or lime green.
Blue color tend to look really good on brown eyes.
(I haven't put any example because the colors are the same than what we can see upper.)
Other Color should put navy or charcoal base and silver-sparkle shadow to give a classic look. To brighten you brow bone you should put some powder-blue shade.
(I haven't put example for the same reason as Brown eyes.)

The bests eyeshadow are, for me, are Lady Frontbum's shadows.
My favorite is : Mocha by LadyFrontbum
You can also find on MySims3Blog :
Non Default
Eyes (You will have to search has it isn't possible to only have the Default eyes)
Eyeshadow in Makeup section (Well, I can't only give you the eyeshadows because they don't have a section for them...)
In hope that this tutorial helped you.
