Biography:
Amila was born in Los Angeles in September 8, 1989. Her mother's parents were Puerto Ricans who settled in Los Angeles, where she got to know her future husband, David Chanel. Born as the daughter of Chanel’s owner, Amila had best preconditions for her model career.
Amila took dancing lessons from age 5 and she still loves dancing the Tango and Salsa. She attended an ordinary high school, since her parents wanted her to grow up in an ordinary environment. In high school she played tennis and was a cheerleader.
She was given her first modeling proposals when she was 15 and soon there were a lot of demand for her from labels who wanted to get the little beauty in front of their lenses. From then on her success grew exponentionally and made her to one of the most successful models of her time.

Why I should be in this competition?
I wanted to enter since I came across this competition in the middle of Cycle 1 and was burning for the 2nd Cycle. I see this as a huge possibility to break my boundaries and improve my skills. I always need a tough challenge to discover what I can REALLY achieve if I want to. This is a great chance to bring out the best in Amila as well as in me.
